Training for family carers

We run online and in-person training courses for family and friends who are caring for someone with dementia who lives at home in Wiltshire.

Introductory course

Our introductory, seven-week courses run several times a year and are aimed at new carers or those who have not yet had the opportunity to take part.

The sessions are a great way to find out more about dementia, what the person you care for might be experiencing, and how to support them while looking after yourself too.

Our team of facilitators are all experts in their field and are experienced in running sessions for carers. However, the delivery is informal, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
