Thirteen-year-old magician Oli Clark has been captivating audiences at several events this summer while raising vital funds for Alzheimer's Support.
Oli performs in honour of his grandmother, who was recently diagnosed with dementia as he harnesses his talents with a cause close to his heart.
The youngster's love of magic began at the age of six when he received a set for Christmas. He quickly fell in love with the art, participating in primary school talent shows, and he joined the Young Magicians Club, run by The Magic Circle, in 2022.
Oli said: "I think it's mainly the reactions I get from the crowd. I love amazing people with my magic and seeing them leave with a smile. I love entertaining people."
With dreams of becoming a famous stage and TV magician, Oli hopes to bring magic back to television. "There aren’t many magic TV shows anymore, so I’d like to do that," he said.
He was also inspired by renowned magician Stephen Mulhern, who he had the chance to meet backstage at Butlins. Oli said: "He's a great performer and a brilliant magician."
Mum Lucy said: “We are so proud of Oli's dedication and determination with his magic. I don't know where he gets his amazing confidence to perform.”
This summer he has performed at North Bradley Summer Fete, Southwick Show, and Trowbridge County Fayre.
Along with his fundraising efforts, Oli also delivered a special performance for members at Mill Street club in Trowbridge and will be performing at this weekend's A Walk to Remember at Wilton House.
