Jane was a mental health nurse for 47 years before retiring in 2021. In her role she worked in partnership with teams from Alzheimer’s Support, setting up the first memory café in East Wiltshire. She was a trustee of Beyond Dementia in the 2000s and re-joined the board in 2023, after her sister was supported by the charity.
