Have a question?

We've answered some of the most common questions about fundraising but if you have a different question please contact us

I’ve registered or secured a ballot place for a challenge event, and would like to support Beyond Dementia

Fantastic news – thank you! Please get in touch to let us know your plans so we can send you a T-shirt or running vest and help you with your fundraising. You can set up your fundraising page online so your donations come to us direct.

How can I get a T-shirt or running vest?

Please get in touch with our fundraising team to let us know what you are doing and your T-shirt requirements. We can only send out branded clothing for people taking part in events directly, but you may be able to purchase additional ones on request.

How do I pay in the money I have raised?

You can pay in your fundraising online or make a BACs bank transfer. Please email us for details or call 01225 776481 or 01985 624005. You can also phone those numbers to pay be phone. Or you can drop off cash, cheques, or return collection tins to one of our offices in Wiltshire.

I have a collection tin to return

Please email us or call 01985 62405 to arrange collection. Please do not open the tin or break the seal as the money will be counted in our offices and you will be sent a receipt and certificate.

Can I donate my fundraising to a particular service, community group or day club, or to be spent in a particular part of Wiltshire?

Yes, we are able to restrict your fundraising to a specific area of our work. So if you want to support a particular singing group, day club, or service, that can be arranged. Just say where you want the money to go when paying in your fundraising online, or get in touch to discuss in more detail. We cannot accept donations for individual members of staff.

Can I use the Beyond Dementia logo?

Please ask for a ‘fundraising for’ logo so we can send you the correct format with instructions on how it can be used on your flyer or other publicity. Request a logo link to fundraising@ email

How can I fundraise online?

It’s easy to set up a personalised online fundraising page on Just Giving to share with friends and family. It’s a great way to let everyone know what you are doing and easy for everyone.

Go to JustGiving and select Beyond Dementia, then all the donations, and any Gift Aid, are automatically transferred to us. All you have to do is share the page with friends and family and see the donations and supportive comments flow in.

Can I use paper sponsorship forms?

If you prefer to fundraise more traditionally just let us know and we will send some sponsorship forms in the post.  You can also download these at…

How can I fundraise for my birthday, wedding or other milestone event?

Absolutely. We can support you with fundraising materials such as collecting boxes, information or even small wedding favours. Get in touch with our fundraising team to discuss how we can support you email fundraisers

How can I fundraise in memory of someone?

We are always so grateful for fundraising in memory of someone we have supported, or anyone affected by dementia. You can make a donation, pay in donations made at a funeral, set up an In Memory tribute page through our partner MuchLoved, or even host a fundraising event – whatever feels right for you.

Your funeral director might ask for our registered charity number as some will pass on donations as part of their service. It is 1048314. More about donating in Memory link

How can we join in Denim4Dementia?

Denim4Dementia takes place every February but you can host your own dress up days with friends, at work, or in a school, whenever convenient to you. We will send you a pack to get started.

Can we hold our own Walk to Remember with our own route and time?

Yes. We can send you T-shirts and fundraising support. You will be responsible for the route and for everyone’s safety, and will not be covered by our insurances.

Can I run a bucket collection?

There are some rules around public street collections and you will need a licence from Wiltshire Council to do this. Please get in touch for advice so we can help make the process as smooth as possible for you.

Can I run a raffle?

You can easily organise a raffle if it is linked to an event eg a coffee morning and tickets are only sold at the event. If you would like to run a raffle where tickets are sold in advance, you will need a licence from the council. Please call for advice.
