Our group meets fortnightly on Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at St John's Communication Centre, Upper Studley. Each session is run by a professional artist, and projects run over a number of weeks.
Like all our groups, the first half hour is reserved for refreshments and a chance to catch up socially, with the art activity starting at 11.00am.
Why take part
Getting older shouldn't mean losing the joy of connection and creativity. Our Community Arts – Trowbridge group is a warm and welcoming space designed especially for older adults to stay social, make new friends, and enjoy creative expression in a relaxed setting.
Regular creative activity can boost wellbeing, build confidence, and help you feel part of a supportive community — all while having fun over tea and cake.
What you can expect
Our Community Arts – Trowbridge group meets every other Thursday, 10.30am - 12.30pm for relaxed, creative sessions led by a professional artist.
Each term, we work on art projects that build over several weeks, giving you the chance to learn new skills and explore your creativity at your own pace. There’s always tea and cake on hand, and plenty of time to chat and connect with others in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Sessions cost £6 each, and no prior art experience is needed — just bring yourself and an open mind.
