Why work for our charity

Dementia care can sound like a difficult field of work. By definition people do not get better and the challenges of the illness are considerable. However, our truly person-centred approach brings out the best in people, both those living with dementia and those caring for them.

Ask any of our team why they love their job and they will probably say 'the people' - meaning both the people they support, and their colleagues. Others love the flexible hours, excellent training, the benefits of working for a forward-looking, innovative charity and the rewards of making a real difference to people's lives.

Beyond Dementia is an independent charity that has supported people living with dementia and family carers in Wiltshire for more than 35 years. Your kindness will provide crucial support to families facing uncertain times.
For professionals

People with dementia often need support from a wide range of professionals. We work with health and social care colleagues from across Wiltshire to deliver high-quality, joined-up support.
