About our charity
Beyond Dementia (formerly Alzheimer's Support) has supported people living with dementia and family carers in Wiltshire for more than three decades.
35 years of support
As a local charity, we are rooted in the communities we serve, and what we do is quite simple - we support people who are living with dementia in their own homes, helping them to maintain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.
We see the person, and create and run services from day clubs, to one-to-one support, to a singing or art group, where people can be themselves. Where choice and dignity are preserved and our time together is creative, productive and meaningful.

Beyond Dementia, the new name for our charity, reflects how we see the person beyond the dementia, how we work with them and their family to live well in the years following a diagnosis, and how we support people living with all types of dementia.
